Answers with tables, maps and buttons, not just text

You ask AI for a plan or a comparison and get a wall of text you have to sort out yourself. With Intelligent UI, ChatGPT can answer with charts, buttons, forms, tables and even a small tool built on the spot, right inside the conversation. According to OpenAI, the format depends on what you ask, and when plain text is the most useful answer, that is what you get.

Who this is NOT for

It is not for you if you need a form or dashboard your team or customers use every day. OpenAI presents it as something that lives inside your conversation and solves a task on the spot, not as an app you share. For that, look at Typebot or NocoDB. It also will not help if the answer ends up pasted into a WhatsApp or an email: the page does not say these views can be exported, and outside ChatGPT you lose exactly what makes them different.

Curator's note · NeuralEdge

It is not a new tool you have to learn. It is another way the same ChatGPT answers, so you get value by changing what you ask: say 'compare it side by side' or 'show it on a map' instead of 'explain it'. The mistake I see coming is trusting an answer more just because it comes with a nice table, when a table can be just as wrong as a paragraph. And look at OpenAI's own demo: the roast is in pounds and Fahrenheit. Always check units and prices before using a plan in your business.

Your first step

Open ChatGPT in the Chat tab and ask: 'Compare these three supplier options for my business side by side' using your real data. If you only get text back, the rollout may not have reached you yet: OpenAI is releasing it in stages since October 7.
