Answers are only as good as your documents: feed it un-OCRed scans or outdated versions and that is what it will answer with. It does not replace the work of organizing your documentation.
Of the whole 'chat with your documents' ecosystem it has the least friction for non-technical people: desktop installer, genuinely MIT, and it works with local Ollama or cloud APIs if you prefer them. Our advice: build one workspace per area (sales, legal, ops), not a single junk drawer.
