Your video, your ad, or your phone hold message needs a voice, but a voice actor is expensive and recording yourself sounds homemade. ElevenLabs turns text into natural speech from the browser: you can choose among 10,000+ voices, clone one from a recording, and generate audio in 90+ languages.
Who this is NOT for
If your recordings or customer data cannot leave your office, this is not for you: everything runs on their servers. To transcribe on your own machine, look at Whisper or faster-whisper. And if what you want is the phone receptionist (Reception AI), hold off: their docs pitch it at small businesses, but the page we reviewed does not say whether it answers in Spanish or works with LATAM phone numbers. Ask before you pay.
What sets it apart from a robotic translator voice is control: different models for different needs (Eleven v4 for the most expressive audio, Turbo or Flash when speed matters) and tags to direct delivery. The mistake everyone makes is pasting text written to be read and expecting it to sound spoken: the AI reads exactly what you give it. Write the script the way you would say it out loud, in short sentences. And watch your credits: every character counts, so ten test takes of a long script burn through them fast.
Your first step
Go to elevenlabs.io, open ElevenCreative (the no-code web app), paste the 30-second script for your next video, pick a Spanish voice, generate it with Eleven v4, and play it side by side with the version you recorded on your phone.
The ElevenLabs implementation guide
The project belongs to elevenlabs.io and it is free: the link beside asks for nothing. The guide to set it up without getting lost is ours: step by step, common mistakes and a checklist. Leave your email and we will send it.
